While reading I do a couple things to help pick out important passages. I usually just look at the passages that stand out. Like one of my important passages was when Atticus says how it took a nine year old o bring a group of people of their senses. Thats important because its interesting to think abou how a childs innocence and love can show a group of angry people that their over reacting. I also just pick out passages that probably have more meaning to them hen what is said.
